Old Town Square in Prague
Old Town Square in Prague

We finally met up with the rest of our group who only flew in that afternoon. We have been out an about for a few days and we were having a grand time. Our group has more than doubled in size and I worry that going places might become an issue. Some people may not like the places that I would like to go to, so there would need to be some compromises made by them and also by myself. We will see how this goes, but for now, I think it was easy enough to decide where to go – Prague Old Town Square.

The Prague Old Town Square has got to be one of the most beautiful town squares that I have visited. I have been to a good few of them and I think this one is by far the most attractive. As you might expect, the square is large and it is surrounded by several historical buildings. Towering above it, is a building which actually isn’t by the square itself but it is behind a building which is on the square. This is the Church of Our Lady before Týn. It is very distinctive church which those pointy spires which distinguish it from the other churches that we have visited here in Czechia. As you can see, there was quite a bit of rain, which made photography difficult. I hope that it would get better in the next few days.
