I was following the map I got which lists down the structures which Andrea Palladio designed. Several of them were clustered around the Piazza dei Signori but there are even more scattered around the city. Fortunately, I don’t think the city is that big that I would have problems going there. I think I should be able to get to most of the locations by walking. My next destination is actually a church – Church of Santa Corona.

The church, like a lot of the churches were are old. This one was built in the thirteenth century. I thought that this was designed by Andrea Palladio, but it wasn’t. The church was built before his time. However, there are features inside the church which were touched by the famed architect. The church has a brick facade and it certainly doesn’t look its age since I looks very well maintained, no doubt being continually in use across the centuries. Another claim to fame of this church was that Andrea Palladio himself used to have been buried here. His remains were later moved to a nearby cemetery.
