I was paying a visit to the Piazza delle Erbe or Market Square in the city of Verona. Had I known what the name meant, I would have known what to expect here. The square was very busy. There were a market there alright and so were the people. I didn’t mind it that much but the stalls were getting in the way of my photos. That was when I ended up at the Palazzo Maffei which is on the western end of the Piazza delle Erbe. The building was designed rather differently compared to the rest of the structures here. I take this as another example of Verona just continuing to build structure side by side the existing ones.

I think I just wanted to get away from the madness that is Piazza delle Erbe and I decided to enter the Palazzo Maffei. It is currently a museum and I thought to have a look at what is on display here. I was never good at museums especially the really huge ones. Since things start to blend in to each other after the first few minutes. I know it would be a waste of money if I tend to zone out in museum but the Palazzo Maffei museum seems to be not that big. Hopefully, I won’t get bored before I complete my visit.
