View from the Top of Seceda

I would like to say that made my way to the top of Seceda in Northern Italy, but it wasn’t really the peak. It was probably the highest point of the ski area and I can see that there are taller peaks that are nearby. This is probably the highest point that would be accessible to normal sightseers. The more adventurous ones can continue on to the peaks if they wish but for most people, this would be the highest point. As it is with highest points, the is always a view to be had from there.

I was lucky that the skies were clear that day. There was hardly a cloud in the sky and the sky was incredibly blue. I thought it would be dreary during the winter but at least for today, the skies were very clear. There is a structure here which points visitors to important landmarks and it was fun trying to follow it. There are the better known ones such as capitals of countries included their distance from here. It seems that I was right smack in the Alps since all I can see are snow capped mountains. It is also a wonder that it wasn’t windy. I had this idea that it will be windy on top of mountains since there won’t be anything blocking the wind but this doesn’t seem to be the case. Anyway, enjoy the view from the top.
