I spent quite a bit of time at Lago di Braies despite being frozen over, I still managed to enjoy the scenery however frozen it was. Yes, there were significantly more people here compared to the previous places but since the area is so big, the tourists were all dispersed over a wide area. I didn’t go hiking further away from the lake, although that seems to be nice activity here. I decided to continue on and go to my next destination – Val di Funes. I wasn’t sure about the next location seems it seems to be a valley with no specific location in mind. I just decided to follow it and hopefully, I would be able to figure it out as I go.

Val di Funes is closer to where I would be staying for the night. I thought it was just a little detour on the way to the hotel. But it felt like the way was further than I anticipated. This is because the way was going through the mountains and there weren’t a lot of straight roads as it was basically following the mountainside. In the distance, I can see that there are very impressive mountains which tells me that I must be going the right direction. I eventually reached what appears to be a small town within the valley. This is supposed to be a very well known place but I was having difficulty finding signs which point me to the interesting places.
