It has been a very busy day for me. I was able to visit two UNESCO World Heritage sites today and by the end of the day, I just wanted to go to bed. It wasn’t until that afternoon that I actually booked a place to stay for the night. I have never done that before since I usually have everything booked way before the actual flight. This time, I was just winging it to see where I end up for the night. I would have wanted to stay at city of Palmanova but the one affordable place to stay in was taken. I ended up finding a place only minutes from Palmanova.

I was to stay at Albergo Trattoria Al Taj. That afternoon, the manager was already calling me, asking when I would arrive. I told them that I would be there after dinner and sure enough I was there. Reception itself was very quiet and I was worried that it had already closed. I was waiting there when the manager called me again, looking for me. Apparently, I was supposed to have gone to the restaurant next door. No harm since it wasn’t late but they were also about to close for the day. I got my keys to the room and it was fine.

The room was small with the bed just big enough for me. Taller people might have a little problem with the size. It was clean and it works for me. I didn’t really need much as long as it is safe and secure. I’m not sure if there are even people in the hotel but I don’t really care at this point. I quickly fell asleep for I have another busy day to look forward to. They also provide breakfast there which is great since I would driving the next day.
