Fins of Sandstone in Arches National Park
Fins of Sandstone in Arches National Park

I have been enjoying Arches National Park so far. There has been a variety of sandstone structures to visit here that one would wonder what is left to see here. Of course, I would never get tired of seeing a sandstone arch and obviously that was what this whole place was named after. There are more than two thousand natural arches of varying types and the best ones have been carefully curated by park management to optimize visitor enjoyment. The driving route is the main route to follow for this and it seems that I would be brought to yet another one of these places.

The Sand Dune Arch is the next stop in the driving route. With a name like that I wonder how different it would be from the other arches since most of these arches are in the desert. Adding a little sand might not change much, at least that it what I was thinking. The Sand Dune Arch is apparently inside a collection of sandstone structures called fins. As the name implies, these are thin slabs of exposed sandstone that they look like fins. Somewhere inside these fins is the sand dune arch. I am naturally excited to see this, they haven’t disappointed me yet, I don’t think they will disappoint now.
