Steep Cliffs at Paria Point at Bryce Canyon National Park

The road going to inspiration point at Bryce Canyon National Park branches off to two different points – Bryce Point and Paria View. While Bryce Point is a different look at the Bryce Amphitheater, Paris View is one hidden behind the plateau itself. You can think of it as being behind Bryce Point. Like a lot of these places here in Bryce Canyon National Park. Paria View also features views of sheer cliffs albeit with a more open view of the area around Bryce Canyon. There is a viewing area here where you can appreciate the steep drop off.

What’s more is that not too many people make it here to Paria View, at least compared to the far more popular Inspiration Point, which is admittedly more spectacular. However, Paria View also serves as an alternative sunset viewing area in case the popular Sunset point is too crowded. The viewing area isn’t as large as Sunset Point’s but considering the lesser number of visitors who come here for sunset, I think it should be fine. I know I went during the winter and there weren’t any people there during the time that I went there. Since the sun was already starting to go down, I thought that I should have a look at Sunset Point first before deciding where to wait for sunset.
