I looks like that I am at the part of the driving route of Bryce Canyon National Park where there would be a stopover every other mile. I was driving so I don’t really mind it. I am just glad that the spots are all well thought out that casual visitors only need to step out and that’s it. Of course, if you are the more adventurous type, you can always go hiking but for people like me, it is as simple as park, get out and take photos. Sometimes there would be larger viewing areas where they would have significantly more parking area. If they plan for more visitors in a certain area, naturally, the parking would be more plentiful.

The next stop on my way back to the visitor’s center at Bryce Canyon National Park is Agua Canyon. I don’t have any information about the origins of the name of the canyon. Obviously, agua means water but of course there would have been water involved here at some point in time. Either way, I don’t see any obvious water here unless it is at the bottom of the canyon. There is a prominent sign here proclaiming the name of the canyon along with the elevation at this point. I can see that it has been steadily going down as I make my way to the visitor’s center, but I am sure that even the visitor’s center is still quite high.
