While it was still mid morning during my visit to Bryce Canyon National Park, I was worried that there would be a surge of visitors as the day goes by. In my mind, the freezing weather that morning reminds me that it was almost winter, and there just won’t be a lot of people visiting the park this time of the year. Still, I would rather err on the side of caution and decided to “properly” plan my visit to the park. While I was still near the start of the visitors driving route, I thought to do it the other way around. I thought to go to the further point of the driving route and slowly work my way back. Hopefully, by going the opposite way, I would avoid most of the potential crowds. As a bonus, I would most probably be one of the few people at the further end when I get there.
Looking at the map, I can see that the furthest point here in the driving route is Rainbow Point. They use very colorful names here and I makes the mind come up with possible images of what the place would be. I started my drive to Rainbow Point and I can see that there are several points of interest along the way. I will be skipping them for now while I make my way to Rainbow Point. There wasn’t a lot of traffic here, owing to the fact that it was low tourist season apart from a few hardy visitors. Rainbow Point is at the very end of the route and it promises to be an amazing sight.
