The Barking Crab

I think by the time afternoon comes in Boston, I would already be feeling the effects of jet lag. Granted that there is only a five hour difference, by the time afternoon comes, my body already feels like it wants to sleep. However, I still haven’t had dinner. I remember seeing this interesting place by the Fort Point Channel and I thought that it would be a nice place to have dinner and possibly catch the NBA Finals while I was at it. The place that I had in mine is The Barking Crab. It has a nice place by the river and I thought it was be a nice finish to the night.

The Barking Crab almost like a makeshift restaurant. It is setup under a tent by the river and it is open on all sides. Naturally, you have a great view of the city from here. This is also the reason why I decided to have dinner here. As you might expect, seafood is the specialty here. I got the Fisherman’s Platter which is basically various fried seafood, fish, clam, shrimp and scallops. It was great to be eating in such a lively environment. The bar area has a big screen television with game 3 of the Boston Celtics versus Golden State Warriors finals game. Much as I wanted to watch the game until the end. I kept getting asked if I want any more drinks and I got the feeling that they want me out if I don’t intend to order anymore. I eventually left after the second quarter.
