I spent much of the morning moving to a different hotel and thankfully, this one is much better than the last one. By the time I was done, it was almost noon and I thought that I might as well have lunch in the area. I know that I was near the new Seaport district and there are supposedly a few nice places to eat there. One of the places which keeps coming up is Legal Seasfoods. They have several branches in Boston and apparently there is one at the Seaport district. I thought it was nearby so I just started walking.

Unfortunately, the walk was much longer than I thought it would be. I had difficultly finding the right route to go through and ended up backtracking several times. I thought that I had a general idea of where it was but I kept making wrong turns. The day was very warm as well and soon as I was already huffing and puffing as I walk these roads. Ultimately, I did end up finding the place. Legal Seafoods Boston Harborside is indeed by the water. The restaurant is rather open with an entire side wide open. This gives customers a great view of Boston Harbor. I would imagine that this also closes when winter sets in else it would be a freezing restaurant.

I ordered some baked lobster. Lobster seems to be a very popular item in Boston restaurants. It is not surprising since Boston is by the sea but it seems that it is favorite here. They even have lobster sandwiches for sale at Quincy Market. The baked lobster actually comes with some pasta as well as the lobster tail all peeled for you. The dish is beautifully plated with a generous sprinkling of cheese on top. For some reason, it didn’t come with the claw which is one of my favorite parts in a lobster. Regardless, I thought that the meal was great and it was just right without being overwhelming. Add the beautiful location of the restaurant and you have a place which will be popular with locals. Oh, after that, I found out that there was a much more accessible place Downtown, but you still won’t be able to beat the location at harborside.
