Going to Druid’s View

Misty Morning at Druid's View

Misty Morning at Druid’s View

I spent the whole day slowly making my way from the Kinsale area, to the village of Kenmare in county Kerry. It wasn’t really that far if you head straight to it but there are quite a few sights to see along the way and the whole point of coming here is to see them. I ended up reaching Kenmare just before dark, and it was summer time so it gets darker a little later. I used to think that if all I’m doing is sitting in the car all the and driving, then there is no reason for me to get tired but driving the whole day can be exhausting. After having my first proper sit down dinner in what seems like forever, I slept soundly that night.

The following day was again, another day of exploring. I was a little late for breakfast and I was scolded a bit because of that. This is understandable because breakfasts are scheduled because of social distancing. I still ended up finishing everything with time to spare. It looks like the weather isn’t that good that morning. It looked like rain and I was hoping that maybe the weather would eventually clear. My luck didn’t seem to be that good that day as it was raining the whole morning. My first stop was just outside of Kenmare village. It is called Druid’s View. I passed this spot the previous day but I was in a hurry to get back the bed and breakfast.
