The rain was continuing all throughout the night so I had no illusions on what kind of weather it would be the following day. It didn’t really matter anymore since I would be leaving Chefchaoen that morning. It is a pity that I didn’t get the nice weather I was hoping for. But maybe that would be a reason for me to come back here. I checked out of the Hotel Al Kalaa and made my way down the bus station. This trek was much easier than the one going up the mountain. It was fortunate that the weather wasn’t as bad anymore.

I remember where the bus station is so it was only a matter of getting there. I managed to get there early and I had quick breakfast of msemen. There were several people here waiting for their rides. I would be heading to the historic city of Fes and there is a bus to catch here. There would be a bus conductor who would make sure you get on the correct bus. If you do not find them, they will find you. I finally got on a bus to Fes. It would be another epic journey going there since it would take several hours to get there. This time however, I wasn’t so aggressive in my itinerary so I can actually spend most of the day traveling to Fes.
