Thoughts on Mulranny Beach

I liked how organized Mulranny Beach was. The parking area wasn’t that far from the main beach itself. Behind the beach, there was some interesting features which remind me of a cracked landscape. I believe that water has craved out various crevices and eventually widened to what they are today. I don’t know if there is a name of this but I thought these were interesting features. I am not sure how the tides affect these features but they seem to be quite durable. They are so durable that the locals have put a bridge to cross one of the larger gaps. I supposed this is to make it easier to get to the beach.

People won’t have to go around the entire cracked landscape just to go to the beach. The bridge helps people do that. I have seen something similar in Ballymastocker Beach in county Donegal. They have a bridge to help cross some larger channels. Because sometimes that water can go quite deep. As far as facilities go. The village itself seems to cater to the tourist crowd. There a hotels and restaurants here some of which overlook the beach. I think it would be a great experience to have lunch here if only because of the view here.
