Statues Along Krakowskie Przedmieście

When I was asking about a bus to get to the train station, I was told to just go out of the Old Town and go to the Sigismund Column. There is only one street there and that it where I would need to find my bus. There is no missing this street since it is lined with a lot of shops as well as a lot of historical buildings. Krakowskie Przedmieście, and don’t ask me how it is pronounced is one of the major shopping streets here in Warsaw. The street turns just before the old town so it would be a nice walk out of the town.

It was already rush hour by then so there were a lot of people walking about. It seems tourists and locals were all here which livens the place even more. I like these kinds of streets which seem to be absent from where I came from. The shops along streets felt like an endangered species and the only place to be was a mall. It is good to see that shops are still alive and kicking here. It makes the cities feel more human rather than just huge box malls all over the place.
