Killybegs

We had a nice afternoon of sightseeing at Donegal’s southwestern corner. My friends and I went through a tour of Slieve League, Malin Beg and any other beaches which we found in between. I thought it was very enjoyable since I don’t know a lot of these places. My friends have been here a lot longer than I have, so they would know these places. We had a quick look at the Fintragh Beach before continuing on. We finally ended up in the town of Killybegs. I see the name of Killybegs when I drive around but I never really knew where it was.

The town of Killybegs is a fishing town and it has a large fishing port in the center of town. There were several ships here at the port but it didn’t seem to be that busy. I heard that Killybegs is a nice place for a seafood meal but I never knew exactly which one. I have actually passed through this town but this is the first time I actually stopped. I see there are a few fish and chip shops here but we were only here to take photos. Perhaps next time I can come here to find out if there are nice places to eat here.
