Highway by the Waichenghe 外城河 in Suzhou 苏州
The person we were supposed to meet can’t seem to make it to the area we were at. It was downtown and traffic here is horrible because of the ongoing construction of their brand new metro. However, that is still years away. So residents and tourists should have be bear with the horrendous traffic in the meantime. Our hostel was at the old town of Suzhou and we would need to meet them somewhere outside and supposedly walking distance from the hostel. This gives us an opportunity to explore the rest of Suzhou. My friends don’t seem to be the type who would venture far away from the tourist area just to get somewhere else so I think this is a great opportunity.
