I had a great night’s sleep at Albergo Trattoria Al Taj. It is a small hotel I stayed in minutes from the city of Palmanova in Northern Italy. I would be driving out again that morning but I first need to grab some breakfast from the cafe next door. The one night’s stay included a simple breakfast which for me was just croissant and hot chocolate. I devoured it quickly and I was on my way. One would note that it was December and the days are shorter this time of the year. Day was just about breaking and I was already on my way.

My next destination is the town of Cividale del Friuli. It is only thirty minutes away but I am not sure if there is an easy way to get there from Palmanova. I thought that having the car was very convenient for me since it allows me to forget about figuring out which bus to take and what time it leaves. I was determined to make the most of the car while I still have it. By the time I arrived in Cividale del Friuli, it was already morning. It was a little challenging to find parking since I wasn’t sure where in the town I should be going to. After a little back and forth, I ended up parking the car somewhere near the town center. Just before the pedestrian area. I figured that if it was a pedestrian area, then it is probably the place where everyone goes to.
