I was fresh from an almost seven hour drive from Moab City in Utah to Las Vegas, Nevada. It was the longest nonstop driving that I have ever done and strangely enough I didn’t feel that tired. I was mostly on cruise control which I think helped avoid the fatigue of driving that far. I knew that it is recommended to take breaks in between but part of me also want to get there sooner and also find out if I can do an almost seven hour nonstop drive. I quickly checked in the hotel and got some well needed rest. I have been to Las Vegas before so there was no real hurry for me to do out and see the sights.

It was evening when I got out of the hotel. Instead of driving, I took the bus which wasn’t that far from the hotel. I took it to get to The Strip, which is a well known row of casino hotels. I went there because I can’t recall any place I would like to eat at in downtown so I might as well go to the Strip and look for a place to eat there. Now, if there is one thing I would like to eat here it would be steak. I know that this isn’t New York, but some of the famous New York steakhouses have branches here.
I ended up at Peter Luger, well known brand in New York, and somewhere I have already been too. I liked their steaks and quickly got one before they close for the day. I got a single steak and it was great. It came sliced in that typical Peter Luger style. The meat was very tender and easy to slice. Of course it was also tasty. I always wanted to make steak as good as this but I worry about buying an expensive cut of beef only to mess it up. I think I would rather go to a well known place and pay someone to make it perfectly for me. This is what I just did here at Peter Luger.
