Inside the Main Atrium of The Venetian Las Vegas

I spent most of the night walking up and down the Strip in Las Vegas. I didn’t walk all the way down since the Strip is quite long though with the nice cool weather here I could have gone further, but I needed to remember that I needed to eat. This was going to be one of those meals which I don’t get anywhere else. I walked back to The Venetian. It was no easy feat since Las Vegas Boulevard is locked down for the Formula One race and it wasn’t easy to cross the road. While Las Vegas Boulevard has multiple crossings, you can’t really use those right now since the Strip is in use. Pedestrians would need to make use of the overhead bridges to cross the road.

With the bridges all boarded up, non paying pedestrians won’t be able to watch the race from the bridge. If you do try to linger too long there would be security personnel who will tell you to leave. I finally made it back to The Venetian. As always, the Venetian is a sight to behold. The Venice theme resort is one of the more well known ones here. One of its main features is its replica of a Venetian canal – complete with the famous gondolas. If you pay attention, the gondoliers would even sing for the passengers. Inside The Venetian, the line blurs between day and night since there is an artificial “sky” here which is made to look like a mid day sky. So it feels like you walking down the canals of Venice. However, by the time I got here I can see that the shops are already closed. This means that I need to find a place to eat fast.
