Going to Sankt Goar

Sankt Goar Train Station

Sankt Goar Train Station

Another day, another day out of the city of Köln. It is true, the only times that I would be here would be the very first day when I just arrived and I can’t exactly go all over the place because I am not familiar with the place yet. For the rest of the days, I would be outside the city exploring various places only to come back in the evening to have dinner. I think it would be easier to find a place to have dinner in the big city compared to a smaller town. This time I would be going south of Köln and this trip would take almost three hours to complete.

In hindsight, traveling all the way there from Köln might not have been the best idea. I could have at least moved to a different city closer to it or even just stayed at the destination itself. That is all in hindsight now but for now, I will be going to the town of Sankt Goar. Like the previous day, I needed to get out early to catch the train. I can always sleep on the train but at least the time is spent moving closer to the destination. There weren’t too many people on the train because it was just too early and I can’t blame them. I don’t really know how popular Sankt Goar is but maybe most of the people would be going to places along the way as well. The train actually changes midway, actually it becomes shorter in length probably because not too many people go in that direction to warrant a full length train. You might need to keep that in mind when you take the train, lest you fall asleep and be left in the end which stays in the train station.
