Heading Out of the Albufeira Marina
One of the major activities when visiting the Algarve region is touring the coastline. The Algarve region of Portugal is one of the most spectacular I have seen and it is no wonder that it is so popular with tourists. We actually had a little difficulty getting a good slot for the tour. The ones we were being offered were usually right in the heat of the day or very late in the afternoon where you might not see anything anymore. We eventually made our way to Albufeira Marina where it was much easier to find slots and we eventually got one which suited us. While we can’t afford to book the entire boat, since it was too large, there weren’t as many passengers as I feared.
Great Day for a Boat Tour at Albufeira
I somehow managed to land a seat in the front row. The tour would be lasting a couple of hours and I actually wondered how much can we see in that amount of time. Our tour leaves from the Albufeira Marina and it was actually a great day for a boat tour. The sun wasn’t blazing hot yet so I think this will be a great trip. The boat heads out to the open sea slowly at first. I guess to get people used to the boat and once we were out of the marina it sped up to everyone’s delight. Our tour comes with a guide who will be talking through every stop and every feature worth pointing out. He is a marine biologist and he also does tours for a living. His English is great so I don’t think communication would be a problem.
