Dolphin Performing at Zoomarine
If there is one thing which Zoomarine got right, it is their jingle. The song plays in the park over and over again that it gets stuck in your mind long after you hear it. This was the situation where we were at when we head to the amphitheater for the show. Like a lot of water parks, Zoomarine also has its share of animal performances. I know there are some ethical issues about holding these animals in captivity as entertainment for humans. I won’t want to be discussing that now and I ignore it for the moment.
Seal at Zoomarine
Zoomarine has several shows around the park and the dolphin show is the most popular one. Besides, the kids as well as the big kids would love it. I have seen my fair share of dolphin and seal performances and I have always been entertained by them. I always marveled at how intelligent these animals are. It is almost ironic that the park would always mention protecting the environment while keeping these intelligent animals as entertainment. The show they gave was very entertaining and it seems that the kids also liked it a lot. I think that was one of the highlights of the visit to Zoomarine. I regret not bringing my zoom lens with me since I would have gotten a very close look at the dolphin even when we were seated far away. Word of advice is to get to the water park early so you can choose what time to see the show. We went there after lunch which didn’t leave us with a lot of choices.
