Exploring Zoomarine

I was on a school holiday trip to Algarve in Portugal. This is the first time I have been to this region, and as far as I know, this area is famous for its beaches. It is not surprising then that there is an aqua park here. In fact, there are several, we had kids with us so it was mandatory that we go to the aqua park. Zoomarine is probably one of the better known ones here in Algarve. It is big and obviously popular as I can see from the sheer number of people in the park. I don’t think we made the wrong choice coming here.

Zoomarine has a lot of the stuff you would expect from a water park. There are rides, pools and even animal shows. We arrive a bit after lunch so we don’t have much time to explore the entire area. With the kids in tow, we knew we needed to bring them to the pools. There are several pools here including ones for smaller kids. I went to the larger pool which even has an artificial wave generator which was actually fun. I haven’t swam in a while, so it was actually nice to enjoy this again. Looking around me, it looks like everyone else also feels the same, it was not like there was any pandemic just a few months ago.
