Las Vegas Monorail

Monorail Station at Las Vegas

So far, I have spent much of my time walking along the strip. Naturally, I would walk because I still need to go in each of the hotels and casinos along the Strip. However, that is not the only way to travel along the Strip. Buses are plentiful along the strip but one of the more enjoyable ways to get around here is the monorail. There is actually a line which runs almost the whole length of the Strip but I didn’t get to try it. Actually, that is not true, I wasn’t even aware of it. It was only when I saw that there was a monorail across the street that I realized that there is one here.

Apparently, there are several lines here along the strip. Somehow, I missed the first one but I managed to find one of the smaller ones. It seems that there are four separate lines, all along the strip. I don’t get why they were disconnected like this. But it is what it is. There is a long one on the side of MGM. Then there are several disconnected ones across the street. It is not very obvious to me except for the furthest one because most of them were hidden behind the buildings. I took the one from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay. It was a godsend because it saved me the trouble of walking all the way there.
