Navajo Point is probably the final viewpoint that I would be visiting here at the Grand Canyon. I can’t really afford to keep stopping at every sign I encounter or I wouldn’t be able to reach my destination. I have to commend the park management because the park is very well signposted and you only need to keep moving to see the next one. Navajo Point one of the more popular viewpoints here at the South Rim. I can tell because there are more vehicles here compared to the previous stops. Additionally, there are other facilities here like a restaurant and toilets.

Perhaps the most significant landmark here at Navajo Point is the watch tower that looms over the area. It is technically the highest point in the southern rim but it is artificial so it doesn’t count. The watch tower has pueblo design which fits with the desert environment of the canyon. It doesn’t seem to be possible to climb the tower though. Even the ground floor wasn’t open and it was supposed to be a shop. I only realized too late that I didn’t take a proper photo of the tower since I was too busy running after this creature I saw in the bushes. With that, I finally bid farewell to the South Rim. It is really very well done and I can see why most people would end up coming here.
