Colmar Railway Station

I had a disappointing dinner at Elite Steakhouse and I walked my way back to the apartment just to make it go away faster. After that fabulous lunch I had at Nancy, I was disappointed with the one I had in Strasbourg. Anyway, the next day was another day of exploration. I was glad that I chose Strasbourg as my base since it has easy access to various points in the region being one of the largest cities in the area. Today, I would be going to the village of Colmar which is also a train ride away from Strasbourg. I think the trains depart for Colmar hourly because it is a popular destination. I decided to go to the train early to make sure I can see more.

Colmar is actually one of the reasons why I decided to come to this area. When I saw photos of this place, I knew that I had to come here. I’m hoping that I would be blessed with good weather to make the trip worth it. There weren’t too many people on the train since I got out a little early. This was on purpose. Knowing how popular Colmar is, I was hoping to avoid the tourist crowd, at least the ones coming from Strasbourg. I know that there would be people who would be staying in Colmar, so they would probably be out by the time I get there.
