Quick Snack at Restaurant la Primatiale
I was very impressed with the Porte de la Craffe. It is an old gate that is the last of the fortifications of the old town of Nancy. I thought I have seen all that I can see here in Nancy (I didn’t), so I thought that maybe I should start looking for a place to eat. I finished much earlier that I thought so I think I would have a lot of time to find a place to eat here in Nancy. Of course, my first options where the restaurants that I saw along the way in the old town. There were menus outside and I think some of them were highlighting some local Lorraine cuisine, mainly quiche Lorraine. I thought about that but I thought since it was still early, I should keep looking for now.
Inside Restaurant la Primatiale
I ended up going to the site opposite the old town. There were several restaurants which I saw along the way. I looked up where the recommended places are and one of them stood out for me – Restaurant la Primatiale. It seems that this place is rather popular with the locals so I decided to give it a try. When I got there, the doors were still closed. There were people hanging out on the street but I didn’t wanted to ask. The street here is rather small so I would prefer not to draw attention to myself. At exactly twelve noon, one of the men opened the door and went it. It seems that he is the owner and he just opened the restaurant for the day. I quickly went it and fortunately, he speaks English. The menu itself was already scary since I could hardly understand it but the owner was gracious enough to explain it to me.
