I finally arrived at the village of Baltimore and contrary to my previous stop at Inishbeg, this place is packed with people. The center of the village is undoubtedly the harbor and there were already a lot of people here. At the time of my visit. Outdoor dining just reopened because of the pandemic. As you might expect, people were already taking advantage of this. It has been a long time that people were allowed to eat outside. Indeed, I myself have been buying only take out food for the last few days since restaurants aren’t open. However, that changes today, hopefully for the better.

Baltimore seems to be a very lively village because of its row of establishments by the harbor. The village is set up such that the harbor is of course by the water, but the rest of the village actually rises above the harbor. Thus the restaurants here are much higher than the harbor, thus giving patrons sweeping views of the harbor area. I can see why people would want to be out here eating even if there was no raging pandemic. The main road here is lined with colorful houses which seems to be common here in county Cork. I actually might want to see if I can get a seat here seeing how pretty the area is. Perhaps it is because it has been ages since I ate outside that I would just want to go for it as soon as I can.
