Amazing View from the Gap of Dunloe

I was quite frustrated with the weather when I was out and about at the Gap of Dunloe. Although it is recommended to hike here, I unwittingly drove right to the gap. I wouldn’t say no to that either so I would just take it. The view of the gap is quite nice but I think the view from the gap itself is even better. Although it looks like the gap is at the bottom of two mountains, I didn’t realize that the the gap it still quite high up. As a result, you have a great view of the lakes and valley below which is lower than the gap.

I wanted to take photos here but it was tough since the weather was so bad that it was even snowing at times. It was so bad that I actually gave up. But it appears that I gave up too soon. Soon after I left that gap, the weather cleared almost immediately. I knew I had to go back to take photos again. I know people would talk about how Ireland can have four seasons in a day but it is ridiculous to actually experience it. One moment it is snowing, another moment it is sunny, the next moment it is raining. What is a tourist supposed to do?
