Moll’s Gap

Is that Moll's Gap?

Is that Moll’s Gap?

I decided to continue driving outside the town of Killarney. There is a national park here so there are quite a lot of nice places to see. Not all of them are marked, so it is up to you to discover them. However, some of them are actually marked. Moll’s Gap is one of these places. I have been to a few of these gaps and they are literally gaps in between two mountains. Usually there is a road that goes in between the mountains. I am not surprised that there is another gap here in Killarney National Park since there are quite a lot of mountains in this area. There is a sign which points to Moll’s Gap and it basically at what seems be one of the high points on the road.

Since it was high, I didn’t think that would have been the gap itself. I was confused here since I wasn’t sure where it was. I took a look around and looked at some of the snow covered mountains and notice that there were two of them close to each other to form a gap in between. Now, I don’t really know if that is really the gap I was looking for. There were no signs here but that seems to be the closest thing there is to a gap. I couldn’t find a way to get to the gap itself, it could be there there really isn’t any road going that and the most you can do here is look at it.
