One of the best things that I like about going sight seeing in Ireland is that most of these natural sites are free to visit. Killarney National Park is the first national park in the country and it is free to visit. It is best to have your own car so you can stop whenever you want. There are a lot of spots where you can pull over and I think that I what I like best about it. I guess a lot of people would stop often enough to cause traffic problems that it would be better to just make an area for people to pull over to take photos.

I found one of these spots on the shores of another lake in Killarney National Park. Lough Looscaunagh is one of these lakes which dot the national park. The pull over area is right at the end of the lake and you can almost see the lake in its entirety. I was lucky I got good lighting. You wouldn’t believe how fast the weather changes here maybe it is because it is winter that it changes so fast. I have learned to be patient here since I would be rewarded with some brilliant lighting that would otherwise be dreary.
