I head back to Dar El Yasmine soon after dinner. I was tired from that bus ride from Chefchaoen that I just wanted to rest. Not that there was still a lot to see this time of the night. IT would probably be nice to see the medina devoid of people but it might also be dangerous especially without the people. I was told not to go out anymore just in case. Besides, it is probably not a good idea to get lost here while you are still familiarizing yourself with the place. This gives me more time to relax and enjoy Dar El Yasmine.

I got a room right beside the concierge. This means I can hear pretty much everything that goes on in there. In the evening, it is not really that big of an issue. I can lock the doors from the inside but people from the outside can also lock the door from the outside. Pretty scary if you think about it. Anyway, despite the noise from the street, I was able to sleep well given how comfy the bed was. The following day would be a day of getting lost so I would need a lot of energy to go around this massive medina. For sure, I would be getting lost multiple times so it would be great to have a good breakfast the next day.

I was then pleasantly surprised to be offered breakfast the next day at Dar El Yasmine. Actually, I paid for it but I never really keep track of these things. I was prepared what they bill as the Best Breakfast in Africa. It is a veritable feast for me since I am not that big on breakfast. There were several types of bread here including croissant which is obviously French. They have various dips you can use to go with the bread such as butter, honey and jam. Finally, there was fruit. It was actually more than I could eat but I didn’t want to waste food. I also wanted to go out earlier but I just couldn’t stop eating.
