It seemed like we were waiting for the church at Zelená Hora to open but it turned out that it was closed that day according to a sign in Czech. We wasted almost an hour waiting for it to open before finding out. I already had an itinerary planned and we wasted an hour waiting for a church that won’t open. We quickly made our way out of the place and hit the road. Our next destination is a small village called Kladruby nad Labem. It is just over an hour away so that wasted hour really mattered. Even looking at it on the map, it looks like it is a very small place, whatever could even be here.

If you have been paying attention, you can see how we have been slowly making our way back to Prague. To me, it made sense to try to see whatever we can along the way. The way can sometimes be a little out of the way and this is one of those places. Upon arriving at Kladruby nad Labem, we got an even bigger sense of how small this place is. It wasn’t even a town, it was a village spread out over a very large area. Of course, there is a reason why there is a very large area in the first place but we will get to that in the next post.
