Vieux Lyon at Night

I finally got back to the hotel and got a some rest. I had been walking the better part of the day and I just wanted to rest. It was just my second day in Lyon and I was already tired. I love the city and I think it is a much more pleasant place to visit compared to Paris. By the time night came, the weather turned cold. There was hail falling and even snow, this made me not fee like going out anymore but I realized that I would be missing seeing Lyon at Night. I pulled myself out of bed and went out.

The only place I could think of visiting is Vieux Lyon or old Lyon. The old town is one of the most picturesque in the city and it is even true at night. Before crossing the river, don’t forget to take a photo of the famous view of the the old town. The buildings of Vieux Lyon are all lit up making it a pleasure to take photos. The basilica on top of the hill shines brilliantly in the night, often time outshing anything else in the city. The river is also nice and quiet, giving me nice reflections of the beautiful town.
