I finished exploring the fascinating Wieliczka Salt Mines including the uninspiring Saltworks Castle beside it. It was finally time to head back to Krakow. There was a bus stop near the Saltworks Castle and it was just a matter of waiting for it. It wasn’t difficult to find the bus stop since most people would be heading there. It seems that buses in Poland have kiosks to dispense tickets. This saves the money to hire someone to collect money from everyone on the bus. This also means that you can board from any door of the bus and not just the front. Since it is just a machine, there won’t be anyone to tell you off if you didn’t purchase a ticket. However, there are inspectors which board the bus every now and then so skip the ticket at your own risk.

When I got back to Krakow, I didn’t really feel like exploring yet. I decided to take it easy and just rest. I spend most of the day in the apartment just chilling out. Until it was time for dinner. Krakow, doesn’t have a shortage of places to eat. Naturally, the most common food here would be Polish food. While I’m not familiar with Polish food, I welcome the chance to be able to try out a new type of food. I eventually ended up at a rather fancy looking place called Kawaleria Restaurant. There didn’t seem to be a lot of patrons at the time but that didn’t really bother me. I got myself an plate of wild boar neck. I believe I had wild boar before but I can’t say I had neck before. I was promised that this would be a good dish and that the meat would be tender. I wasn’t disappointed. It actually feels no different from pork probably a little tougher. The neck is probably the most tender meat in the animal. It was nice though it didn’t really rank that high for me to forever remember the taste.
