The Boatyard

The Boatyard

The Boatyard

I finally decided to call it a day at the Dingle Peninsula. I went on a whirlwind tour of the small peninsula, which still took half the day. I took the scenic route back to the Dingle town but decided against stopping in other places. I think it was more than enough to see for the day. I need to head back north that afternoon so I need to quickly get myself ready for that. It was already past noon and I was very hungry. Dingle town is a tourist town and I am sure there are a lot of eating places here. The busy part of town is by the water where there seemed to be a lot of boats. One of the restaurants here is called The Boatyard and it seems to be a popular place.

My good friend recommended that I eat here. Apparently, their food is quite good here so I decided to give it a try. Even if it was bad, I probably won’t be able to tell the difference. I had the seafood platter. The platter came with a few crab claws, a basket of fish and chips and a cup of mussels. It looks good but not as much as I would have preferred it to be. The quality of the seafood was good though. I didn’t enjoy my food as much as I would have liked to. It had nothing to do with the food, but more because I was in a hurry to finish my food so I can start my long drive back.
