Old Pier at Feohanagh

I decided that it was time to head back to the town of Dingle for lunch. I liked what I saw in Dingle and I’m sure that I missed a lot of other places but as far as the Slea Head Drive is concerned, I was very satisfied. I was surprised to see how much it had to offer. I decided to take the scenic route back to Dingle. The funny thing is that there seemed to be a lot of arrows pointing to Dingle. I wasn’t using my satnav at the time so I was just relying on the signed pointing the way. Surely, I would end up at Dingle, one way or another.

The scenic route took longer than I planned. I ended up passing through a nice spot which has an old pier. This was the village of Feohanagh. I don’t know much about this village except that it was just along the way back to Dingle. It is funny that Dingle becomes something like the big city here in these parts of the country when the town of Dingle isn’t really that big to begin with. There was a nice stopping area here a the old pier and I obliged by taking photos. I was lucky that the weather was so nice.
