Going to the Dingle Peninsula

Heading to Brandon Point

I had a great night’s sleep in the town of Tralee. I was disappointed not to have met up with my good friend there but there will be other opportunities. I hardly saw my host when it was time for me to move out. I am planning to go back to Letterkenny that evening so I decided to start early. Although I will be going back that evening. I thought it would be good to explore another one of county Kerry’s more well known attractions – Dingle Peninsula.

The Dingle Peninsula is another peninsula here in county Kerry, but it is arguably one of the better known ones. One thing going for it is that it is smaller so it is more manageable compared to the other larger peninsulas in the county. The forecast for the day seems to be quite good so I hope my luck would hold out. I am hoping to be able to get blue skies and not have to travel back to Donegal with disappointing photos. The exploration of Dingle Peninsula can probably be done in half a day. I will be planning to continue back home after that. Maybe Dingle Peninsula would give me a good memory of county Kerry.
