If you have been following this blog, you would have known that we were actually in Prague earlier in the week. We decided to head out of town and see the rest of the country before we head back to Prague. Truth is, we were supposed to meet our other friends by the time we got back. They could only fly in that afternoon, which gave us time to go around and see other places before coming back here. Now that the gang is all here, we were just going around what is probably the easiest place to visit – the Prague Old Town Square.

Since we were already there the previous week, we had some time to look around the square. I didn’t take any photos just yet since I knew we were coming back later. Unfortunately, they brought the rain with them and it wasn’t good for photography. I had to make do with what I have though. It was very hard to capture the beauty of the square. It was so large and I think it would be best to just take a panoramic photo which my camera can’t do.
Anyway, we moved on to another part of the square, one which I thought was the most interesting part. There is an outdoor astronomical clock – the Prague Orloj. This one was installed in 1410, making it the third oldest in the world. Oh, it still works, which makes it the oldest on in operation. The clock itself is very beautiful we various parts telling various kinds of time. I won’t pretend to understand all of it, but it is fascinating to see all these different kinds of time squeezed into this beautiful and still working astronomical clock.
