I think I have just about completed my visit to Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce Point is one of a few viewing points in the vicinity of Inspiration Point. I saw a few signs pointing to different spots nearby. I think a lot of them were focused on viewing the Bryce Amphitheater which is understandably the main focus of the park. However, there are other spots where you can still see some nice views nearby. Paria View is a viewpoint not too far from Bryce Point. I almost missed it until I saw the sign going there.

These viewpoints are on the same plateau that the park is on. In fact, these points are on the edge of the plateau where you can see sheer cliffs of the plateau which are naturally populated by hoodoos. In this is all part of a plateau, you can still see the land which isn’t part of the plateau. This gives you an idea of how high this place is. Looking at the photo is it hard to get a sense of verticality since there isn’t much to compare it with. People would be too tiny to see from the viewpoints. This somehow reduces the sense of scale that these places would usually give the visitor.
