Looking on from Rainbow Point at Bryce Canyon National Park

In an attempt to make more efficient use of my time and avoid potential crowds in Bryce Canyon National Park, I decided to head to the very end of driving route and slowly make my way back to the visitor center. The idea is that there would most probably be less people at the furthest end this time of the day compared to later in the day. I doubt that crowds would be that big of a problem since there would be less people visiting the park this time of the year. Rainbow Point is at the very end of the route and I look forward to seeing these rainbows which it is named after.

There is plenty of parking at Rainbow Point, no doubt to be able to accommodate the hordes of visitors during the summer. There are a few points of interest here but I went for Rainbow Point first. Rainbow Point is the highest point in Bryce Canyon National Park. I can see that it is really that high but I think I have gotten too used to this. Most especially since the freezing weather that morning was reminding me how high this place actually is. The colors here at Rainbow Point aren’t as great as Sunset Point. I think this place is more for the height of the place rather than the colors. Do I sound spoiled by the views I have seen elsewhere, I sure am. The views here are that great.
