I was glad that I found out that there was a cable car from the town of Ortisei to the top of the nearby Seceda, a mountain known for its ski slopes. I was only here to take photos which also means that I didn’t have proper gear to be walking in the snow. I hope I keep my footing that I won’t go sliding down the mountain. No one stopped me from going up, I assumed that it should be alright. I think most people sightseeing would be here in the summer and most of the people here in the winter would only be for winter sports. There is a snow covered trail to the left of the skiing area which will lead visitors to the top.

Most of the area here is dedicated for skiing so it is not safe for me to go wandering around the ski slopes since there would be people zipping by and I do not want to cause an accident. The trail on the left thankfully has a wire fence which should help prevent all but the most determined people from falling over the edge. The slope was getting steeper and I was using the fence to help me keep going. Although it wasn’t super cold thankfully, the snow isn’t too hard to walk on. Surprisingly, part of the walking trail was plowed, this makes it slightly easier to walk on. I still have to rely on the fence, hopefully it holds.
