Halomango

I haven’t been to the Philippines in years and there was a lot of food that I wanted to eat while I am here. Boracay might have a lot of restaurants but I never considered it to be a place where I should have a certain type of food. I know I would have better chances in the big city of Manila but maybe I would be able to find places where are surefire hits. One of the stalls that we keep passing by is named Halomango. I would like to think that this is a play on halo-halo and mango but I digress.

Mango is one of the famous produce of the Philippines and I was glad to see a stall here dedicated to mango. The stuff they have here is basically mango heaven. They have mango slices. They have mango ice cream and they are made from actual mango, the type that you can’t buy in the supermarket even in the Philippines. This is the real thing. Eating the ice cream will tell you that it is made from actual mango. The desserts come in different sizes which suited us fine. I had never had any mango dessert as good as this. If you are in Boracay make sure you pay Halomango a visit, heck, do it every day you are there.
