Old Opera House of Frankfurt

After a day of going around the city center of Darmstadt, I have finally concluded the trip and made my way back to Frankfurt. I arrived a little early and got some rest at the hotel before heading out again. By the time I got out, it was already dark outside but it is just as well since I haven’t had any decent night shots of the city of Frankfurt. I also thought that it would also be a good time for me to do some last minute shopping here. I don’t know much about this place so I thought that I should go a buy stuff at a local supermarket.

The only supermarket that I knew of was that one I saw at the Zeil Shopping District which is why I was making my way there. I can’t say that I already know the way since I was just going by feel. I ended up at what is the Old Opera House which is a reconstruction of the original one built in the 1890s. The old opera house is built with a Neo-Renaissance style and I thought that it was very nice. The old opera house hosts concerts and conventions. At night as you can see, it is lit up beautifully.
