Antelope Slot Canyon Tours

I spent the whole morning going around Page Arizona since it has quite a few places to see. Majority of the places are all related to the Colorado River which goes to show the importance of the river to this region. However, I didn’t come here to Page to see these places. I treated these other places as a bonus since I will be visiting what I think is the main place to visit here in Page – the slot canyons. On my way to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, I saw signs to these places so I think I there is more than one of them. The one I was planning to visit is Antelope Slot Canyon.

When I decided that I would be going to the Grand Canyon, I was thinking of other places I could visit. Somehow I chanced a upon a familiar photo, it was obviously that of a desert scene. It is a photo of sand sculpted stone with brilliant colors. I knew I wanted to go there someday but I didn’t know that I was actually that close to it. I made sure to allocate time to go to Page Arizona after my visit to the Grand Canyon. It was a long way from home and I thought that since I made the effort to come all the way to the Grand Canyon then I shouldn’t be that big a deal to go to Page. It seems that there are several of these so called slot canyons within the vicinity of Page. I booked a tour with a company called Antelope Slot Canyon Tours. There is no independent travel here, so you must go with a tour group. That suits me fine as long as I get my photos.
