Because of the sheer size of the Grand Canyon, there are numerous spots which offer stunning views. In fact, just walking a few hundred meters from the visitor center will already bring you to several of these view points. Although, because the canyon is so big, small changes in the view point doesn’t change the overall look of the view. You need to drive or hike for a bit to see drastic changes in the view. There are various viewpoints which cater to both hikers and also drivers. Each view point also have some sign which describe what visitors are seeing.

Yaki Point is one of many view points along the Grand Canyon South Rim. It seems that is it one of the more popular ones as it is also one of the places to go for when it comes to sunrises or sunsets. I don’t have the luxury of staying over so I will never get the chance to see the rich colors which sunrises or sunsets gives to the Grand Canyon. It is really a shame since I was already here but I was on a schedule and I can’t afford to stay one night here. As with most viewpoints here at the South Rim, there were some people. There would be times where some viewpoints would be small but people respectfully take turns to get photos from the viewpoint. I think that is very nice.
