I was going around the Little Italy area in the city of Boston. I can see that there are quite a few historical buildings here. Officially this area is the North End. As I found out, these parts have some of the older structures in the city. One of the most significant ones here is Paul Revere’s House. Paul Revere is one of the prominent figures which was involved in the events which led to the American Revolution. Boston is already overflowing which people like him. It only goes to show you how important the city was to American history. There is also the Saint Stephen’s Catholic Church.

This is another historic church which was built in 1802 but that was already replacing an existing church on the site. The original church was a Congregationalist, which latest became Unitarian, and then later a Roman Catholic church, that probably shows in the Saint Stephen’s in the name of the church. This church was also named the North Meeting House. Remember that there was a South Meeting House in Downtown Crossing. It seems like they like to hold their meetings in churches. If you ask me, I think it would be too suspicious to name it a meeting house as it might imply that there something going on there. Finally, the church was designed by the renowned architect Charles Bulfinch and the only one of five designed by him still left standing.
