Going to Moët and Chandon

Outside Moët and Chandon

I stopped by the tourist information office to get some tips about visiting this place. To no one’s surprise, I was told to do a wine tasting tour. This is the thing to do here and I might as well do it since I was already here. I was never big into these kinds of things hopefully it won’t be too expensive. It was a Sunday that day, and there were only three champagne houses open. One of them was Moët and Chandon, which is one of the world’s largest producers of champagne. I guess that they are so big that even I have heard of them. I’m sure I have seen their name somewhere before.

Moët and Chandon’s location is also very convenient as it is at the start of the Avenue de Champagne. They occupy a very large area here and I would have to see how give they actually are. There was a queue of people going in to the shop but it seems that the queue was mostly due to the COVID certificate scanning. Likewise going in, people come here to purchase champagne from the source itself. It is a very intriguing possibility. One which I need to consider on my way out. The reception for the wine tasting tour is actually separate from this area. At the entrance you turn left immediately and just follow the path to reception.
